Writing From Pluto

It’s incredible how much we really can learn from so-called “fluff” stories. The stories we read just for the sake of reading. The ones that supposedly hold no purpose other than an escape.

Some may learn to fear the world outside our door, but that we are able to overcome the obstacles that face us there. We learn to hope, and to cry, and that those who seem to be the villains at first may, at the end, become our strongest allies.

More difficult to be learned from the stories is how to love.

We learn to love characters from tales, to hate others, and thereby, most importantly, learning how to separate the two, and knowing the signs that distinguish one from the other.

Trials upon them change the way we think of them, and however it moves us reflects who we are, and how we think.

Life is a strange state of being, if you could even call it that. It's honestly quite a bit larger than I expected. I am not very good at introductions, so I suppose I will start with a generic hello. I am Mi_Chan, or, at least, that is one of the many names the people closest to me call me by. I created this website back in high school for a creative writing class, and have found it to be a good place to store away my thoughts. I enjoy writing poetry and short stories, and am currently working on a novel.
